Can I Still Get My Tattoo if I Have a Tan?

At Illusions by Ink Studio, we match the pigments to your natural skin tone, not the tanned skin. This ensures that when your tan fades during the winter months, the camouflage tattoo remains natural and seamless. Our goal is to blend the white stretch marks or scars with your natural skin color, making them less noticeable regardless of your skin’s tanning cycle.

Even after you tan again, the areas treated with the tattoo will not appear as starkly white as they did before the procedure. The pigments we use are designed to blend harmoniously with your natural skin tone, ensuring that the stretch marks are less visible and do not draw attention, even when you’re tanned.

DOES SCAR CAMOUFLAGE TATTOO HURT?

At Illusions by Ink Studio, we prioritize both the comfort and safety of our clients during every procedure. We do not use try not to use numbing agents during the procedure because they can interfere with the proper absorption and placement of pigment. Using numbing creams may affect the skin’s texture, leading to inconsistent results. For the most precise and natural-looking outcome, it’s best to proceed without numbing. This will also depend on the area of the scar, the pain tolerance of the client as we also understand that there are times when a numbing agent is required.

Tips for managing discomfort:
